A Virtual Tour of New York

If IT is your first trip to New York then, you are at the right place. My Information might not be worth, but for sure this will give you a little Idea about how to plan your trip. It May be your First trip  and you want to make sure that you are getting  maximum out of it without   getting lost in this Mega  city .This city is wonder full and , best city to walk around . You can do this city in 2 hours by walking on your foot . All Walks can take about thirty minutes about 3 hours. In Today’s post about this New York in your sandals.
As I said always get your residence near time square. You save money on your food; you save money on your luxury, but do not try to save money on hotel, just getting it miles away from Times Square. If might have to pay about $ 50 More by staying nearby, but it’s always worth. You will save 100 of $s on by saving time and cabs. So today’s Walk I will start from Times Square. This is the place, where my friend always uses to drop us early in the morning. Like about 9O, clock in the Morning This Is city, which lives on interactions or you can say cross road. This is best address if you wanted to give some to tell that where you are. I started from 42nd street and Broad way. Where, billboards are the main attractions. These lightning billboards will give your deception of night even at 10 in the morning.
So Now I am at the intersection of 7 Ave and 42 Ave. So if you are new to this erotic city. Then Face towards 8 Ave .This avenue use to be infamous for one time for its night life. Yes immoral beauty was always on sale on these avenues, but now it seems it has been cleaned up. Best thing ever I noticed in this area that there not even a single activity, where I have to feel uncomfortable with my kids in these streets. There is Madam Tussaun,s  Wax museum where you will find wax replica of the  different celebrities of World  like Amitabh Bachan   from India . If  you are with kids them you must see  next door museum  believe or not  and if  you are from Canada , the you can enjoy your coffee at  Tim Horton across the street We’ll first make our way up through Times Square. Notice Virgin Records three blocks up on the right where three levels of music, movies, and books promise hours of entertainment (Make sure to check out their stellar jazz vinyl selection if you choose to stop inside).
In the very middle of the square at 47th Street you’ll see TKTS—where you can purchase same day tickets to Broadway shows at much discounted prices. Sometime you can find great bargains for shows like Rent and Avenue Q for as little as $30. TKTS is an eye catcher, but a real NY story lay just in front of the red and white signs, Father Duffy. The father was a soldier and priest who preached to the people (beggars, prostitutes, rich, snobby, poor, tourists, basically just about everyone) in Times Square Straight ahead and North is the building that is the home of the roof where the New Year’s Eve ball drops, the needle is not up year around, in case you’re wondering. Right now it is just another office building that makes money by selling itself for advertising. So it’s really nothing to stop and see, just a place to be able to say you’ve been there.
Northeast on Broadway you’ll see the Hershey store at 48th Street; if you want a five pound chocolate bar, overly priced chocolate Kiss’s, or a Reese’s letter jacket then this place is for you.
If you’re done gawking at all the giant candy wrappers stuck on top of a building, and you’re still hungry, then walk another three blocks north to the right side of the street and stop in at 51st and Broadway, Ellen’s Stardust Dinner. At Ellen’s, the wait staff sings oldies but goodies on the tabletops in between serving customers. It’s a fun place and a lot of singers get their first Broadway gig singing “Rollin’ Down the River” or “Chapel of Love.” A fun and exciting place, with or without kids, that has a full bar and a great dessert menu. Definitely check it out if the walk has already made your tummy grumble.
After you’ve put on ten pounds from eating a five pound candy bar and a vanilla shake to wash down that great greasy burger from Ellen’s, pick yourself back up and head East. I just had  Strawberry shake over there  Just one block over on 6th Ave you see where millions of people go every year to see a Christmas Show—Radio City. I do not you like this or not
When You walk towards  5 the ave you will  see Rockefeller centre . Make sure you are not lost in basement . Again if You are accompanied by kids then must go to giant Lego store .These is Eating place between Lego store and Rockefeller building entrance . Never eat there , because in summer they might make you eat some pigeons droppings . These guying make this place look like five start and billing you with hundred of dollars and . I saw with my naked eyes , when from my next table , lady was gone to wash room and  some thing fell down from the umbrella in to her drink and got dissolved . When She came back, before I could have alarmed her about this some thing ,  she finished her drink .   . So Do not go there .

I think this is enough for today , I will post  more information in next post

Where From To Start

1I think best way to start your New York  is from your Hotel . Some people look for recordable hotel  and others look for cheap hotel . Best tip is do not go for from time square just for cheap hotel . Some time people get their hotels for from  main town and they end  up spending their major time on roads.  There are plenty of hotels  near by main city , which are affordable   . So By paying little extra  you can  save your time and money on road . Suppose you are spending 30-40 $  less on hotel, but pay more on cabs and buses same time if you get  stuck in New York,s typical traffic , your whole day is gone . So its always  wise to choose hotel more carefully .
2.Once You have finalized your hotel , then  just buy New York city pass . You must be wondering , what is this and why I am advertising these passes . These proved  very useful and money saving tool for me . When I bough it  I  thought that I  got robbed , but later in the day I found that this pass made my trip  real fun . Once You have planned your trip and you have this pass, you can see  whole new York in four day ,  spending  less money . As I said  I bought these passes , We were four so I bought four passes . Each pass provides you  free entry to about 70 attractions plus free bus ride  . But negative  side of this pass is that  this pass is valid for only 48 hours . You can choose for 3 days pass as well paying  little extra . Though it not possible to see all these 70 attractions, but still you can  see lot in these two days without getting tired . You can buy your pass on-line and get it delivered at home or if you do not have sufficient  time then you can collect it from

Gray Line New York Visitor Center
777 8th Ave (between 47th & 48th St.)
NY 10036
3  The time you collect you pass, from the same  place you will get  you bus.Its double decker bus  and its open means no roof . So you get chance to sit on the top . Start your trip bit early . This bus will take you through  town  and guide will explain you about various  attraction . I just  got down at  Empire state building and On this pass  I got  free entry. In the building one girl told me to go for sky drive . Its three D  film , which  give you a real feeling of new   York . My Kids liked this  attraction very much .  After that we went to the top of empire state building .By the time I was able to save about $ 50  from this pass.

4 IT took us almost 2 hours to completely see this empire state building. Then We decided to go for  statue of liberty .So again double decker hip hop bus was there and we got another ride for free.  We  got down at 9/11 memorial   the we went to  battery park . From there I took ferry to  statue of liberty .It took another three hours and my pass saved about $ 15 . This ferry trip covered two attractions . It was amazing ferry trip

5.We took bus and came back and got down at 78 pier , where from we  took  3 hours cruise , city line cruise , which was wonder full .We had our  supper on this cruise  and this took a complete round of the city . Now  It was getting dark and city lights started coming out . City was looking wonderful . With this guide shows all the 20 bridges of the New York .This was free on pass so I saved $ 30
6.We came back and then we went to top of the rock and again  at night city looked so erotic . But again line were so long and took about 2 hours to complete this attraction .We came down and then went to times square  at about 10 Pm . Times square gets young at night , beautiful colour full nights .Kids were tired by now and  we had ice cream  at the time  square and we came  back to  our room . Never choose  resterorant   just in from the rockefeller  building . I do not remember the name , but was deep  between Lego and rockfeller  building . They robbed us  for about $200 for pigeon,s droppings. Yes This  eating place was awful . Pigeon were all around .So Never go there .

7 Next day we started with Madam Tusade museum and  just next door another attraction  believe or not  > Its wonderful if you have kids with you . Another thing , if you are from Canada and you are missing Tim hortan , just opposite ti it there is times .
Then We decided to walk to intrepid US Navy Museum .Its one of the best museum  I have seen .This has  different kinds of war plane Another unique  attraction of  Enterprise  space shuttle .My Kids got overwhelmed  and  excited by  seeing this space shuttle . Our pass gave us a VIP entry, so we finished this mega  ship in four  hours
8. Now we  thinking what to do , then my son draw  my attention  towards water taxi , it was again free so  we took ride of this water taxi  for 90 minutes . It was fun again .
9  It was  evening again and then we decided to take another cruise , which was for three hours  and we got hot dog free on this cruise .
So these passes made our life easy . I would have never enjoyed my trip this much if I have to spend every time on entry passes that too after standing in line four hours
.
